The rally under the walls of the Cherkasy House of Justice was organized by representatives of the National Corps. They explain that the boiling point was a court hearing at which a group of drug traffickers was released.
On June 17, Cherkasy police conducted a successful operation to detain drug traffickers with a consignment of amphetamine in Smila. Nazar and Lubomyr Voloshin, Daria Ivanova and Vadym Bakhmayer have been involved in criminal proceedings in previous years. The organizer, Nazar, was given a bail in the amount of 68 thousand hryvnias, Lubomyr – 48, Bakhmayer – 63, and Ivanova is under house arrest. The authors of such decisions were judges of the Cherkasy Prydniprovsky court Demchyk Roman and Svitlana Pozaretska, says the head of the Cherkasy National Corps Dmytro Kukharchuk.
Activists explain that they constantly witness how, after complex special operations of law enforcement officers, drug traffickers are released just in the courtroom. Such things lead to logical conclusions that judges have their own benefit and are part of this business.
This rally is juts a warning and requires a reaction from the court management.
