By the decision of the government, the Ministry of Education and Science was headed by a friend of Tabachnyk, a member of the Party of Regions and a plagiarist Serhiy Shkarlet.
In scientific circles, the reputation of the new ruler is also tainted by numerous facts of outright plagiarism in the works.
It is difficult to imagine a more compromised candidate for the ministerial chair. Despite the active protests of the public and the scientific community, the candidacy of the odious rector was purposefully lobbied by the President’s Office. At first, Zelensky wanted to appoint Scarlett as a minister through the Verkhovna Rada. However, even for many “servants” the candidacy of Yanukovych’s admirer turned out to be too toxic. As a result, the authorities simply bypassed the parliament, appointing the former regional to head the Ministry of Education and Science as acting president. All this happened against the active protests of the public and the scientific community, contrary to common sense.
Scarlet’s appointment is another demonstration of the anti-Ukrainian nature of clown power. It is noteworthy that the candidacy of Tabachnyk’s friend was actively lobbied by the main inspirer of capitulation policy, Yermak. Now we should expect serious negative changes in the humanitarian policy of the state.
