Recently the representatives of the National Corps of Ivano-Frankivsk region have joined the all-Ukrainian track and field race “I honor soldiers, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine!”, which took place in Kolomyia.
About a hundred veterans, volunteers and concerned citizens of Kolomyia took part in the competition, thus honoring the memory of defenders who gave their lives in the struggle for Ukraine’s independence.
According to the organizers, this is not an ordinary sporting event. The main goal of the project is to honor the memory of the fallen ATO soldiers, to thank the servicemen and their families for their contribution to the preservation of the territorial integrity and national dignity of the country.
At the end of the event, each of the participants of the race received commemorative medals and themed T-shirts.
