Ukrainians are actively supporting the guys who were detained on August 27 on the Kyiv-Kharkiv highway on charges of attacking Ilya Kiva’s titushky. Fans of Dynamo, Shakhtar and Dnipro football clubs also expressed their support.
“We can’t repeat the 2014 scenario. The price of inaction of cops is too expensive. We need to fight for the guys who oppose the pro-Russian “disease”, the official Facebook page of Donetsk football fans states.
The ultras are outraged by the reaction of law enforcement agencies, which started the trial of the patriots, at a time when the militants of the “Russian world” stay free.
“Fighting the injustice of the mercenary judicial and law enforcement system is not for the first time for us. We will defend our friends, patriots, over whom a trial was held to the delight of Russia’s supporters. We should not be intimidated by cops and prison,” Dnipro fans say.
The Kyiv regional court of Kharkiv chose a measure of restraint for guys in the form of 60 days of detention, incriminating to them Art. 15 st. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Lawyers for the arrested patriots plan to appeal the measure of restraint.
