Recently, Lviv media reported that Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy regularly gives “material assistance” to his deputy, Hennadiy Vaskiv. This fact seems especially cynical, because Vaskov is a millionaire. In 2019, he declared UAH 10.2 million in cash. In addition, his family bought two new cars last year, the official’s wife is in business, and the Vaskivs own a lot of real estate.
It is known that the official has an individual safe, where he keeps 249,500 dollars, 102,300 euros and 526,605 hryvnias. All this information is stated in his declaration, but Sadovyi believes that a person with such wealth needs financial assistance from the city. By the way, this is not the first time that the mayor of Lviv “supports” his subordinates financially, writing out considerable bonuses and providing assistance.
