Today, May 25, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv have ordered the Prosecutor General to add to the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations information on treason against members of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, which met with Russian leaders and State Duma deputies six times in the last year. This is an important intermediate result of the joint struggle of Ukrainian patriots launched by the National Corps.
The leader of National Corps Andriy Biletsky on May 20 addressed to the Ministry of Justice with the requirement to check activity of the party on compliance with the Ukrainian legislation. The National Corps also wrote a letter to the Security Service of Ukraine demanding to initiate proceedings against its leaders on the fact of treason.
On May 23, the National Corps staged a protest near Viktor Medvedchuk’s office and drew the attention of the Ukrainian public to the collaborating nature of the party.
The National Corps reminds once again that it is known about at least six visits of leaders of the Opposition Platform – For Life party for the last year for negotiations with the leadership of the Russian Federation to Moscow and St. Petersburg. We insist that during the war this should be unequivocally interpreted as cooperation with the enemy, and the State Security Service should finally give due consideration to such actions of the “fifth column” and open a case of treason.
Nationalists have always been at the forefront of protecting national interests and Ukrainian statehood.
