The National Corps calls for the signing of a petition demanding President Zelensky to initiate the adoption of a law on collaborationism.
In particular, the authors of the petition ask the President together with the public to develop a draft law of Ukraine “On Collaborationism” and, using the right of legislative initiative, to submit it to the Verkhovna Rada.
The law should define and enshrine the concepts of “collaborator” and “accomplice of the occupiers”. At the same time, legislate and define the status of the Russian Federation as an occupier state and aggressor, the petition says.
We believe that in the conditions of revenge of pro-Russian forces, the adoption of the law in Ukraine is critically necessary. However, the state leadership does not have the political will to initiate and adopt a law.
It will be recalled that the National Corps has already twice submitted a draft law “On the Protection of Ukrainian Statehood from Collaborationism” to the President’s Office, but has not received any reaction from Zelensky. Therefore, if the petition receives the required number of signatures, the president will be forced to consider and respond to the community’s appeal.
It should be noted that today the petition has already received 24088 votes out of the required 25,000.
