The representatives of the National Corps came to the Kyiv Court of Appeals to support Andriy Antonenko, who is one of the suspects in the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet. Today the court is considering an appeal by Antonenko’s defenders to change the chosen measure of restraint in the form of detention.
The veteran Andriy Antonenko has been behind bars since December 2019, despite the fact that there is no substantiated evidence of his involvement in the murder of the journalist. As actually there is no evidence of guilt and other suspects in the case. However, despite the obvious falsification, the prosecutor’s office continues to support absurd accusations in this case, and under the auspices of Prosecutor General Venediktova, more and more criminal proceedings are being instituted against the patriots.
The current government continues to persecute patriots, instead of imprisoning real collaborators and separatists who are openly engaged in anti-Ukrainian activities. One of the brightest examples of another repression is the case of Kharkiv patriots, whom the court sent to a pre-trial detention center for fighting against the pro-Russian activists and refused to release on bail the people’s deputies of Ukraine.
We demand to stop the repressions and release the Ukrainian patriots! Deal with the real criminals who are destroying Ukraine, working for Russia!
