Some Zhytomyr deputies, including the elect of the 67th district from the Servant of the People Serhiy Kuzminykh, demanded to open UPG gas station.
This is what the representative of State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine told us on February 24. Read more here: https://nationalcorps.org/koli-znesut-nezakonnu-azs-upg-v-zhitomiri/
Why the people’s deputy demands opening of UPG gas stations?
This is a direct cooperation between Serhiy Kuzminykh and the owner of the network of gas stations UPG Volodymyr Petrenko, a deputy of the regional council from the European Solidarity party. The last one financed the Kuzmin’s election campaign.
Petrenko has a group of “his” deputies in the regional council of the Zhytomyr region whom he finances, and they promote certain bills that are beneficial to him.
Thus, the Servant of the people party and the elect of the 67th district Serhiy Kuzminykh and several other deputies are lobbying for the opening of the gas station.
Here is the current situation: on May 14, the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate provided a certificate for commissioning UPG gas stations despite quarantine and its own previously offiical refusal.
The National Corps party with the community adressed the prosecutor’s office to represent the state in court on the side of the city’s community. The prosecutor was provided with all the supporting documents confirming the unlawful activity of UPG LLC and the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate. The prosecutor promised to review the documents within a week and take all measures to resolve the case.
On May 25, the National Corps of Zhytomyr together with the city community arrived at the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate in order to accept generally available documents in the case of an illegal UPG gas station. Citizens of Zhytomyr need copies of documents of the certificate on the commissioning of an illegal gas station. They will become one of the strongest evidence of corruption at the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate and the illegality of UPG gas stations.
