Political repression: Zelensky follows Yanukovych’s path

by Оксана / September 3, 2020 01:52 / Published in Kyiv

It has just become known that about 50 police officers had broken into the office of Svoboda political party in Kyiv.

According to preliminary information, their goal is to detain Volodymyr Nazarenko. The most likely reason for the desire to detain the deputy of Svoboda is tomorrow’s vote by the Kyiv City Council, which will consider important issues.

Activists of the Kyiv organization of the National Corps have already arrived at the scene. We are ready to support fellow nationalist parties.

It is not yet completely clear what triggered the situation, but all this reminds of the times of Yanukovych, when patriots were first detained and then explained. But today is not 2013, and society is ready to resist if the authorities take the path of repression.
