Yesterday, on the occasion of the anniversary of his inauguration, Zelensky gave a large press conference for the media. As expected, during the conversation with journalists, the current head of state demonstrated a completely inadequate perception of reality.
Zelensky stressed on the importance of negotiating with the Kremlin and the “priority” of the so-called Minsk format. He does not care that the consequences of his “peacekeeping” over the past year have resulted in the death of dozens of Ukrainian heroes and the intensification of aggressive actions by the enemy on the front lines. The President publicly supported Yermak’s shameful initiative to establish a so-called “Advisory Board” with the ORDLO representatives. However, according to Zelensky, “negotiators” from pseudo-republics must have Ukrainian citizenship.
In fact, such a position only plays into the hands of the Kremlin, which seeks to portray the war in the East as an “internal conflict.” But the fact that the creation of a joint negotiating body with the LDNR on Yermak’s initiative means the recognition of the Kremlin’s myth of the “civil war” does not bother Zelensky. Obviously, according to the president, there is nothing wrong with that. Therefore, the capitulation course will continue.
The President stressed as well that in Ukraine a salary of UAH 5000-6000 is not poverty. His statement sounds like outright ridicule to millions of Ukrainians who are barely making ends meet with incomes of less than UAH 10,000. But the head of state seems to live in his own reality. Equally absurd is Zelensky’s statement about the start of large-scale privatization immediately after the end of the pandemic. That is, in the context of the economic crisis, the government is going to sell off state-owned enterprises when their value is minimal (!). It is difficult to imagine such a picture in civilized countries.
The head of state openly admitted that he had not been able to appoint 3 ministers for more than two months, because, according to him, the government is in a “staff shortage.” In fact, he signed his team’s inability to solve even such problems. Also during the press conference, Zelensky ignored one of the key election promises. The president hinted at the second term.
As a result, we have a vivid picture of the complete incompetence of the head of state. The president does not understand elementary things. Such a figure at the head of state can lead Ukraine to catastrophe if civil society does not put it in a clear framework. That is why it is very important to put pressure on the power of clowns, preventing the implementation of destructive plans for our state.
