Representatives of the National Corps took part in a rally near the Pechersky Court in Kyiv in support of the veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war Olexander Pogrebiskiy and Igor Chepkasov.
“I came to court to bail the guys who are accused of “violence against a statesman or public figure”. This “figure” is the pro-Russian people’s deputy Voloshin, who not for the first time publicly allows himself anti-Ukrainian statements. This time he stated that Ukraine has no sovereignty,” the head of the Central Staff of the National Corps Maxym Zhorin wrote on his Facebook page.
He added that police should pay attention to the Voloshin’s statements. Instead, a case was opened against war veterans, who are accused of allegedly had treated Voloshin with “zelionka” (a green antiseptic).
“I am absolutely sure that this will not affect the desire of patriotic citizens to stop pro-Russian activists. They must understand that there will be no pro-Russian revenge in our country,” Zhorin said.
