On October 14, the Day of the Defender of Ukraine, the National Corps together with other patriotic parties and organizations held a powerful march in Kyiv, which was attended by several thousand Ukrainians, including Russian-Ukrainian war veterans, volunteer soldiers, and locals.
We honored our heroes who defended the Ukrainian land and those soldiers who continue to defend Ukraine from the occupiers today. At the same time, we understand that our state needs protection from the fifth column, which is building strength and dreaming of revenge, while the government is leading the country through capitulation.
“We still have a lot of work to do. Our lands have not yet been returned. Moreover, now the authorities are giving up the land, fighters, forbidding soldiers to shoot. The pro-Russian armed activists are taking over our streets,” the leader of the National Corps Andriy Biletsky said during the rally, emphasizing that everyone one of us can be a defender of our own country.
Under the President’s Office the National Corps exposed demands to the current government and reminded Zelensky that Ukrainians would not allow capitulation.
Our key demands are the adoption of the law “On the protection of Ukrainian statehood from collaborationism” and the dismissal of Prosecutor General Venediktova, who is engaged in fabricating criminal proceedings against patriots. Therefore, we call on the police to stop persecuting patriots and engage in anti-Ukrainian activities of Kremlin agents inside the country.
In addition, we demanded to ban the activities of pro-Kremlin parties, and revoke the licenses of pro-Russian channels.
