At a time when the authorities forced 277,000 individual entrepreneurs in Ukraine to suspend their business due to quarantine measures, the Kyiv restaurant “Velyur” of the People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” party, Mykola Tyshchenko, continued to work during April. None of the violators paid a fine, even 17 thousand hryvnias.
Despite the quarantine measures, members of the agrarian committee of the Verkhovna Rada were celebrating in the Kyiv restaurant “Montecchi Capuleti” the adoption in Ukraine of the law on land, which was signed on April 28 by Volodymyr Zelensky.
On June 22, people’s deputies from the “Servant of the People” were spotted in Dnipro in a big company at the local Reporter restaurant.
And here’s the latest news. The entrepreneurs rented an ordinary barge, slightly re-equipped it, installed audio equipment, lighting equipment and held an entertaining super event in Kyiv yesterday. The cost of admission was UAH 2,500.
I will remind that in March the Verkhovna Rada provided punishment for violation of quarantine rules. The administrative article “violation of quarantine rules” provides for a fine of 17-34 thousand hryvnias or 34-170 thousand hryvnias for officials for non-compliance with the quarantine. And on June 19, the Minister of Health Maxнm Stepanov reminded that fines for non-compliance with anti-epidemic rules can reach up to 340 thousand UAH for business owners.
As for the participants of the barge party… Ordinary violators have to pay a fine (300 x 17 thousand = 5100000) + business owners 340 thousand UAH.
I wonder how much the people’s deputies replenished the budget of Ukraine, paying fines for the work of their restaurants during quarantine and for violating the quarantine rules, which they themselves imposed?
