Today the Kyiv District Court of Kharkiv have released from the pre-trial detention center Kharkiv patriots Oleksandr Savotin, Anton Mokrenko and Yevhen Shkirkov, changing their measure of restraint to 24-hour house arrest.
“This is the first fair decision of judges and prosecutors in this case. Now they are trying to put pressure on pro-Russian activists. But we are sure that all the guys should be released,” leader of the National Corps Andriy Biletsky wroted in his Telegram-channel.
Also yesterday it became known that after investigative actions the prosecutor’s office removed from guys charges of alleged attempted murder. Today they are accused only of hooliganism.
“This is the maximum that can be “attributed “to the guys. Police have finally begun to move in the right direction. The forces of revenge still do not have the influence in the country. We still have the opportunity to fight for the truth and for our own!,” Maksym Zhorin, the head of the Central Staff of the National Corps, said.
The court hearings in the case will continue on Monday, November 23. There are 12 more guys behind bars. We hope that the court’s decision on them will also be fair, and they will be released from the pre-trial detention center.
