With unspeakable sadness we report that today the head of the Mykolaiv branch of the National Corps Denys Yantar died due to a serious illness.
Denys’ activity began when he was a child: he played judo, football, MMA, basketball. He received economic and legal education. During the Maidan he opposed adherents of “Russian world” in Mykolaiv. In 2014, performing his civic duty, he went to the front. He was a marksman of the first infantry company in the ranks of the Azov Regiment. He took part in the defense of Granitny and Shyrokyne.
Returning from the front he was engaged in active public and political activity in his native Mykolaiv. He headed the local branch of the National Corps.
Denys is a real knight who fought for a free and powerful Ukraine until his last breath. Brave, purposeful, ambitious, a man of words and honor – this is how Denys was remembered in the memory of those who knew him.
We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends. This is a heavy loss for the entire Azov Movement.
