Representatives of the National Corps of Odessa joined the protest against the amendments to the law on language. Odesa citizens gathered on Primorsky Boulevard to prevent the total Russification of Ukrainian education.
The essence of the bill, which the “servants of the people” are trying to promote, is to abolish the transition of Russian-speaking classes to teaching in the Ukrainian language.
An action in defense of the Ukrainian language also took place in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine.
