We are the only ones who went to Zolote to protest the military withdrawal. That’s what the leader of the National Corps Andriy Biletskyi stated on the TV program, responding to the accusations that the National Corps allegedly did not organize protests against the policies of the President Zelenskyi.
The National Corps, veterans, not only the Azov Regiment, are now in Zolote-4. We are the only people who, unlike the “TV-patriots”, have gone there. We are the only ones who spoke at that time, he said.
The politician also reminded that on October 14, and on Volunteer Day on March 14, the National Corps was one of the key organizers with the Veterans Movement of Ukraine of the “anti-green” actions for the military withdrawal.
In addition, Beletskyi said the National Corps protested against the adoption of the land market, which “servants of the people” accepted with the support of the Poroshenko faction, and during the consideration of this bill serious confrontations with the police took place.
There was a huge fight with the police in the confrontation over the land market, solely because of the police, and it is very strange that the whole country witnessed this and you did not say nothing, he said.
The politician added that it doesn’t matter who the president is, but if he doesn’t defend national interests, the National Corps will respond to it with protests.
I don’t give a damn about the president’s name. I am not interested in his name, but his actions only. If the president is doing things that, in my view, disgrace the country or fail the front, plundering of the defense industry or the military withdrawal for example, we as Ukrainian nationalists will oppose that, he stressed.
In addition, commenting Zelenskyi’s dismissal of Avakov, the leader of the National Corps said that the president should have done it, because he had promised new faces.
Moreover, I am afraid we will see new and old faces. Today we see Saakashvili. Tomorrow we will not be surprised of Poroshenko, Khoroshkovskyi, Portnov and others. Unfortunately, there are no positive signals in this regard, he said.
